Waiting......

Ok seriously enough waiting for spring, I needed some reminder that it is almost Easter and i am hoping that are snow quickly melts!!! so here are some pics of the tulips I just got!

~ I am married to my high school sweetheart, and couldn't imagine my life without him. I do not know who I would be without him

~ I am a  daughter, sister, wife, mother and  best friend

~ I am a kind hearted individual, who has  tendency to always take things personal, although this is my year to let things go

~ I am a clean freak, sometimes my husband calls it OCD! LOL

~ I am outgoing and love to laugh

~ I am deathly afraid of bears!

~ I am still learning who I am and will tackle anything. I for some reason have many talents

~ I am amazed at how much my life changed when I had children. Life became not just about me anymore, but about more important things like my boys

~ I am a person who has always loved photography but only recently decided that I needed to do something for me, and this was it:)

~ I am a people pleaser, but in the last year I've learned that the people I've been trying to please my whole life, will love me and have always loved me no matter what I do.  I am who I am.

So my goal this weekend was to get caught up on homework. Its a good thing we are not made to get our assignments in by  a certain date or I would be failing. I managed to find this red barn which made a perfect subject for my "red" picture!

Ah Ha

Today I had an ah ha moment and realized that I do not know yet who I am as a photographer. I have so much to learn and do not want to continue at the pace I am at. I need to take the time and let it all sink in, in order for me to learn who I am as a person and as a photographer. This is why I have decided to take the next 6 months off from taking pictures for family and friends because realized I am not ready yet:). I want to take them for fun, for me and to learn from it. Thank you to everyone for your continued support and encouragement as I embark on this journey. I could not do it without each and everyone of you! 

Jasper

Well my family and I decided to do a spur of the moment overnight trip to Jasper this weekend, but selfishly I really wanted to take pics of the frozen waterfalls!! I so owe my husband cause we hiked about 2 km with the boys in a stroller up a mountain side, and you know who was pulling them and pushing them all the way! what a work out though. Anyways here are a few pics from our trip!
